This database consolidates pluviometric data measured in a broad set of stations scattered on Europe, Oceania, Africa, America and Asia. The first recorded values are dated from 1851. Data before 1950 are called "historical data".
The number of pluviometric stations varies between 1 (Malaysie) et 794 (Madagascar).

To manipulate the data you must define a subset of these, by using the selection criteria (station names, countries, geographical coordinates). After the subset is defined, the visualisation of data, synthetical histograms, isohyetis curves and data quality assessment can be made. Finally, data extraction is possible. These three functions (selection, visualisation, and extraction), are accessible at every moment by using the navigation links that appear on the colored lines above and below each page.
