1. Databases : data management and measure's networks for research

   Large databases implementation and development of operating tools allow to insure data perenniality, an absolutely necessary condition for long term analysis and studies.

2. Observation of land surfaces

   • Supply of biogeophysical products derived from the space observation and characterizing continental surfaces (leaf area index, fraction of vegetation, albedo, downward radiation flux, surface moisture, surface temperature, surfaces burned...) concerning regional scales of space and time to global scales, on scales of time as long as possible, in the framework of the project Postel (national project of development of a pole of thematic competences in the area of continental surfaces),
   • Oasis :Optimizing Access to Spot Infrastructure for Science
   • Isis : Incentive for the Scientific use of Images from SPOT system

3. Training and information : general information and specialized training

   Médias-France is seeing that results are used. In order to this, specialized trainings and spreading of scientific information are regularly operated toward researchers, institutions, industrials, managers and general public.

4. Coordination and consulting

   • Support to projects : technical/logistical support to scientific projects

     • secretariat,

     • search for financing,
