Atmosphérique, NCAR) sera prochainement inclus
dans la base de donnée de GEIA.

function of time. The very recent development of Earth System
Models, as well as the availability of high-resolution global obser-
vations from satellites, has led GEIA to enter a new phase. In
2003, the IGBP steering committee formed a working group to
define the future of GEIA. This group is coordinated by Claire
Granier (Service d'Aéro-nomie/IPSL/Université Paris 6) and Alex
Guenther (NCAR, Boulder, Colorado, USA).
