Process Scale Studies

Background

The meeting which was held in Biarritz in the week of the 19 th September 2005 had the objective to review

the International Implementation Plan (IIP) and

in particular the Special Observing Period (SOP) from the perspective of Process Scale Studies.

The scientific groups dealing with Process Scale Studies will be the prime users of the data collected and thus their interaction with the preparation of the field campaigns needs to be fostered. It is thus expected that the groups working on the process studies will evaluate the observing strategy and suggest improvements.
