25/04/2007 The CERES April 2007 campaign is finished. The weather conditions were perfect from Wednesday, 18th to Monday, 23rd. These 6 days of IOP were intensively documented by radio-sounding in Toulouse, 5 to 8 aircraft flights per day, fluorescence measurements...

The next CERES campaign will take place in September.

19/04/2007 The April campaign started on Tuesday, 10th of April, for 3 weeks.
Due to very good weather conditions, the first Intensive Observing Period started on Wednesday 18th of april and will probably run till next Sunday or Monday!

The surface fluxes stations network is operational as well as the CO2 concentrations measurements at the towers.

The 2 Sky Arrows, the Dimona and the Piper fly over Les Landes and the Toulouse area every day, 3 radio-sounding a day are launched in Toulouse during the IOP.

27/03/2007 The Regional Experiment 2007 campaign starts on 10th of April for 3 weeks. The campaign will involve 8 flux stations, 3 towers for CO2 concentrations measurements, and 4 research aircrafts. A daily briefing will be held in CNRM, Toulouse for weather forecasting assistance. 06-07/10/2005 The CERES workshop in Florence will start at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday and finish at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. Information on how to reach the Conference center can be found at www.ricasoli.net

  • IOP6 started on Saturday 18 June with sunny conditions and very high temperatures (up to 37°C in Les Landes) for that first IOP day. The IOP continues till Wednesday 22 June.
  • To end the Regional Experiment, a meeting is planned on Thursday 23 June in Bordeaux (INRA buildings).
15/06/2005 IOP5 started on Monday 14th of June with a Langrangian experiment in Les Landes and ended on Tuesday 15th in the evening.
10/06/2005 until Saturday 18 June, the Sky Arrow from IBIMET won't be available for aircraft operations due to maintenance reasons.
08/06/2005 IOP4 started on Monday 6th of June with a Langrangian experiment in Les Landes and continues till Friday evening
03/06/2005 IOP n°3 started on the 31st of May and ended on the 2nd of June

16/05/2005 CarboEurope Regional Experiment has started :
  • The different teams have now arrived on their experimental sites and are installing and testing their instruments.
  • Test flight of the SkyArrow on Saturday 05/14
  • The first briefing was held on Friday 05/13
  • Monday 16 May 2005 is the first day of the Campaign. Don't forget to attend the daily briefing in Toulouse or Bordeaux for more information
