Weather forecasting :
The weather for tomorrow is confirmed : anticyclonic conditions, clear sky, the wind is from NE, 10 to 15 kt. The temperatures increase up to 29°C.
Thursday, Friday and Saturday, idem but the NE wind is weaker (less than 10 kt).
Status of the experiment :
IOP4 continues till Friday evening

Radiosondes : in La Cape Sud : 5, 8, 11, 14, 17, 23 UTC
in Toulouse : 11 UTC
Piper : 1 Landes 270 flight plan in the morning (9:00) 1 Landes 270 flight plan in the afternoon (14:00). Intercomparison profile in Marmande at 10:00 LT between Piper Aztec and Sky Arrow IBIMET.
Drifting balloon : launch at 10:30 LT in La Cape Sud
Sky Arrow IBIMET -ISAFoM : 4 flux flights : 9:15; 13:00; 15:30; 19:00 LT; coordination between IBIMET-ISAFoM aircrafts (surface temperature, NDVI, fluxes...).
DIMONA : no flight

Weather forecasting :
This morning, the sky is very cloudy at all levels and the dissipation is likely to occur during the afternoon (4 octas), the sky is clearer in the evening. The wind is from NE in the afternoon less than 10 kt. Temperatures reach 25 to 27°C.
Tomorrow, Wednesday : anticyclonic conditions, clear sky, the wind is from NE, 10 to 15 kt. The temperatures increase up to 29°C.
Thursday, Friday and Saturday, idem but the NE wind is weaker (less than 10 kt).
Sunday a degradation is expected with probably thunderstorms.
