CPC aims to
- gather and make available pollen data of high quality (in pollen identification according to
botanical nomenclature and in countings) and constant quality covering the whole Cenozoic of
Europe, North Africa and Middle East,
- develop paleoclimatic transfer functions, paleoaltitude estimates and paleovegetation mappings
from these pollen data.

grain f rom Zanclean of Southern France, (2) the Mississippi delta swamp forest constituted by

Southern France.
