Arnedillo :
Clustering and number of clasts :3 small elongate clusters containing 3 to 10 stones; 2 single stones.
Description (size, shape, rounding, lithology): 18 quartzite clasts, 1 sandstone clast; rounded to well-rounded; size ranging from 3 to 98 mm (gravel to cobble); shape variable from platy to equant (Fig. 4); polished stones but occurrence of one encrusted cobble with sandy matrix.
Stratigraphic position : syn-rift deposits, upper part of the Enciso Group; Upper Aptian to Middle Albian.
Sedimentary facies : freshwater carbonate with subordinate deltaic sandstones and marls.
Interpreted depositional environments : lacustrine nearshore, carbonate platform.
Rabanera :
Clustering and number of clasts :individual stone.
Description (size, shape, rounding, lithology): quartzite stone; rounded; size is 30 mm; shape nearly equant; polished stone.
Stratigraphic position : syn-rift deposits, lower part of the Enciso Group.
Sedimentary facies : massive siltstones with intercaled deltaic sandstones.
Interpreted depositional environments : lacustrine nearshore, prodelta.
