To be eligible for OASIS, the applicant and its research project should meet the following criteria:
- The applicant should belong to any European State Member except France, or to any Associate State, including Associate Candidate Countries: Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Turkey, Iceland, Israel, Liechtenstein, Norway and Switzerland.
- The applicant should belong to a research laboratory, or to an institution that carries out scientific activities.
- The project must be dedicated to research activities, or to demonstration activities within the framework of GMES (Global Monitoring for Environment and Security). Commercial-oriented projects will be automatically rejected. Projects for education purposes (graduate and post-graduate programmes, Masters and Doctorates) are eligible.
- The cost of SPOT data in the project should not be already supported by another financing source like national programmes or EC-funded projects (Integrated Projects, Networks of Excellence, other EC instruments).
- The applicant must accept the User License for Spot images
- Works performed should mention the origin of the SPOT data (SPOT Image distribution / OASIS programme, Copyright CNES)
